The
First Providence Learning and Development
Center Staff and teachers are dedicated to
developing the learning skills of each child
entrusted in their care. The security,
cleanliness, and teaching standards at our
facility create an environment that is
conducive to learning.
The infants receive the love, affection and
attention in a warm environment that is
critical to their development. The staff is
committed to the safety and security of the
children in our care. The children are
exposed to different learning activities
that will help them develop at a pace that
is appropriate for their age.
Our
staff responds to the interest of the
infants as they play, grow, and learn. Daily
activities are provided that teaches your
children new skills. Lesson plans that
include such activities as art projects,
storybooks, songs, and writing skills
provide your child with the skills that are
necessary when they are ready to enter
kindergarten.
The Learning and Development Center also has
a program for those children who needs
supervised care after-school. Programs with
an outlined curriculum offers your child
additional learning opportunities in a safe
supervised environment. Our staff can make
arrangements to transport your child from
local schools in the community to our
facility.
The Learning and Development Center also
offers tutoring services for students from
elementary to high school in various
